Degradable Packaging
Write for Degradable Packaging
Contribute original reporting, technical insight, regulatory analysis and packaging industry expertise.
Write for us about a packaging question that matters to professionals. Degradable Packaging welcomes original, source-supported editorial contributions on packaging, sustainability and materials. Read the standards below before sending your work through our public submission form.
Topics we publish
- Packaging materials, coatings, barriers and documented technical developments.
- Packaging formats, design, manufacturing and practical application experience.
- Regulation, EPR, standards and claims, with precise jurisdiction and source context.
- Recycling, composting, reuse and other recovery systems, including their limitations.
- Industry developments, companies, product innovation and well-supported market analysis.
What we look for
Bring a specific question, a useful finding and evidence readers can examine. Original reporting, transparent analysis, documented case studies and relevant first-hand expertise are welcome. Explain what your contribution adds, distinguish company statements from independently established findings, and state the limits of your evidence.
Article length and primary sources
Prepare an industry article of 800–2,000 words. Use clear headings and concise paragraphs; do not pad the draft. Other contribution types have their own limits in the Contributor / Article Guidelines.
Link the original documents, research, official releases or data behind material claims. Keep dates, units, conditions and jurisdiction clear. Technical, environmental, regulatory and certification claims need evidence for their exact scope; a submission is not a compliance verdict. Identify the author, relevant experience, affiliations, funding and commercial interests honestly.
Images and rights
Include only images, charts and other material you own or have permission to submit. Provide the creator, source, credit and any usage restrictions. Label company-supplied or AI-generated illustrations accurately; never present an illustration as evidence of a real test, facility or product. Editors decide whether and how images appear. See the current submission and image requirements before using the form.
What we reject
- Generic AI filler, thin rewrites, plagiarism and duplicate submissions.
- Pure promotion, keyword stuffing or articles written mainly to obtain links.
- Unsupported environmental, safety, performance or certification claims.
- Invented data, sources, identities, credentials, tests or first-hand experience.
- Undisclosed commercial interests or material submitted without the necessary rights.
Editorial selection
Submission does not guarantee publication or a backlink. We expect to publish only a small minority of unsolicited submissions. Editors assess originality, relevance, evidence, rights and disclosures, and may request revisions or reject a contribution. Receipt is separate from acceptance; no response time, publication date, ranking or link placement is promised.
Membership or payment does not lower these standards or buy editorial approval. Editors retain control of titles, wording and links. Read the Editorial Policy and Contributor / Article Guidelines for the full standards.
