Degradable Packaging
Contributor / Article Guidelines
Industry contributions explain developments, materials, technology, markets or practical packaging knowledge for an international professional readership. An approved member with an available Industry Contribution allowance may submit a private draft. Editors decide whether and how it can be published.
What to submit
Provide a factual title, short summary, complete plain-text draft, a real proposed contributor name, the relevant company name and official website, a primary official source, supporting references, a conflict disclosure and submission consent. Suggest a section if useful; editors choose the final classification and public byline.
Offer useful, specific information. Separate sourced facts from analysis and clearly attribute company statements. Explain the product, jurisdiction, market, test conditions and limitations relevant to the subject. Historical announcements must retain their real dates and must not be presented as breaking news.
Sources and factual checks
Use primary sources for material claims: official legal texts and regulator notices for regulations, original datasets and methodology for market reporting, original research or technical reports for performance, and company filings, specifications or announcements for company developments. List source titles, issuers, dates, URLs and relevant sections or pages. Editors verify sources before publication.
Do not invent news, quotations, interviews, sources, author identities or access to documents. Do not state that a material or package is certified, compliant, PFAS-free, compostable or recyclable without evidence supporting that precise claim and scope. Identify uncertainties and distinguish a company assertion from independent verification.
Originality, images and attribution
Submit work you are entitled to provide. Credit quotations and outside ideas accurately, and do not copy articles or present a paraphrase as a quotation. AI assistance does not replace evidence or human editorial responsibility. Identify actual contributors; editors confirm attribution before publication.
For images, provide an HTTPS source, the rights holder, the required credit and permission or licence information. There are no member uploads or automatic remote-image imports in this phase. Editors verify rights and choose any published image.
Conflicts and commercial relationships
State employment, company roles, clients, funding, sponsorship and other material interests. If none apply, state that clearly. A contribution is not independent reporting merely because it passes review. Editors label contributed or commercially supported material appropriately and do not guarantee positive coverage.
Editors control headlines, structure, source presentation, public links, link attributes and final wording. The public contribution must not be a link-placement service. Submission does not guarantee dofollow links, search ranking or a particular number of links.
Review and lifetime usage
Draft → Submitted → Under Review → Revision Requested / Approved / Rejected → Published. Drafts and review notes remain in the private workspace. A revision request must be addressed and resubmitted. An authorized editor verifies evidence, rights and disclosure before approval and controls final publication.
Only the first successful publication consumes one Industry Contribution allowance. Saving, submission, review, approval and rejection do not. Revisions to the same published item use the original lifetime charge. Used allowances do not reset annually and are not automatically restored if an article is removed.
Membership provides submission privileges. It does not guarantee publication, positive coverage, dofollow links or ranking. See the Membership Policy, Editorial Policy, Sources / Citation Policy and Corrections Policy.
Private submission status
The public editorial mailbox is not yet enabled. Approved members can prepare and submit content through the Member Dashboard and read private editorial feedback under Submission Status. This is a content-submission workflow, not a general email, reader-correction or privacy-request service. No temporary mailbox is offered.
