Degradable Packaging
Privacy Policy
This policy describes information handling for Degradable Packaging.
Editorial management and contact status
Degradable Packaging is editorially operated by the Degradable Packaging Editorial Team.
The editorial team manages day-to-day editorial work and website maintenance. It is an editorial working designation, not a company identity.
General privacy contact remains inactive because a verified public mailbox has not yet been enabled. The private member workspace is for account management and editorial submissions; it is not a general privacy-request channel. No unverified or temporary email address is offered.
Website delivery and technical information
The site uses WordPress and web hosting. Hosting and security services can process technical request information, such as IP address, request time, requested URL, browser information and error events, to deliver the website, diagnose problems and protect it against misuse.
Technical information may be kept in hosting or security logs. This policy does not promise a fixed retention period.
Cookies and site features
WordPress uses authentication cookies when members or authorized editors sign in. Guest registration and login use a temporary first-party anti-forgery cookie, and forms use security tokens to help prevent cross-site request forgery. Security controls may use short-lived attempt counters derived from request information to limit abuse. Member and authentication pages are served privately without public page caching. Hosting, caching or security services can also affect how a request is handled. The publication does not add advertising pixels, third-party analytics, newsletter tracking or public comment forms as part of this configuration.
If analytics, subscriptions, comments, advertising or externally embedded media are added, this policy will be updated to describe the data involved and the relevant choices.
Reader submissions
General public email inquiries and reader-correction submissions remain inactive. Registered members have a private account containing a username, contact name, private account email, password hash, policy-consent record, membership status and fixed lifetime totals. The account email is not verified, is not displayed publicly and is not currently used for delivery or automated password recovery. Passwords are stored using WordPress password hashing; the membership plugin does not store plaintext passwords.
Private member submissions and editorial access
The workspace stores product, article and company-profile drafts, submitted source and image-reference URLs, commercial disclosures, review decisions, editorial notes, revision history and publication links. It also keeps the manual grant record and a lifetime usage ledger so a published submission is charged once and used allowances are preserved when a plan changes. No payment-card data, payment processing or recurring billing is collected through this membership phase.
A member can access their own submissions. Authorized editorial staff review submissions and feedback; administrators manage accounts and manual membership grants. Account contact details and private review notes are not part of the public article or profile. Staff access is used for account administration, review, corrections, site operation and security.
Members submit plain text and source URLs. Member file uploads and automatic remote-image retrieval are not enabled. An editor may add an image through the editorial system after checking its source, rights and credit. Do not submit confidential personal information or material you are not entitled to share.
After human review and publication, the approved product, contribution or company-profile content, its public attribution, selected source links, approved images and relevant disclosures become public. This does not automatically publish the member’s account email, password hash, private notes or full review history. Editors determine what is included in the published record.
Account, submission, review and usage records are held in the WordPress site database for account operation and editorial administration. Technical request information may also be processed by hosting and security services. This policy does not promise a fixed retention period or immediate removal of a publication record. Publicly published material and lifetime usage history may remain relevant after a later update or removal.
